Table For Six Total Adventures

Having Fun!. I joined the service right at the start of the year, part of my New Year's resolutions. It is definitely a priority to date more, and hopefully find someone great to be in a relationship with. I'm an attorney, and don't have tons of time outside of work. I tried online dating stuff, but spent lots of time just weeding people out, and didn't actually meet many men face to face.

I work with Mandy, Stephanie and Jessica. I love going to my dinner parties. I've actually gone out again with a guy from every dinner party I've attended. My last dinner part I met a cute doctor, and it turned out that we had mutual friends. If only my friends had been better at fixing me up!

My only complaint is that between my busy work schedule, and how it seems my matchmakers spend most of their day on the phone, we end up playing phone tag. When I'm scheduled to go out that evening, I always hear back from them, but otherwise it can take until the next business day. I'm happy with the quality of guys I'm meeting, and I've made some new girl friends as well. My dating life is definitely busy these days!…

North Meets South. I decided to join about 8 months ago because I travel a lot for work between LA and San Jose which makes it difficult for me to set things up with people I encountered online. Mandy and Anni have done a really great job of collaborating to make sure that they can maximize my membership in both locations. I have met some really nice guys and it's great to have the girls setting me up because they are able to explain my work-life schedule to the guys before we go out which makes it a lot less awkward for me in the beginning. It's also really nice to have a dinner to go to in the evening when I am traveling because nights tend to get a little monotonous when I am working. I have met friends in both locations that I keep in touch with and now my social life in both locations is just fantastic. I actually don't feel so bummed about having to travel back and forth so much anymore!

What has also been nice is that I have been able to meet guys that have roots in Northern AND Southern California which gives us more long term potential if we hit it off. Right now I am dating a couple of guys that I have met through the service consistently and I have a good feeling that things are headed in the right direction, but I'm taking my time to make a decision and just enjoying the process. It actually seems strange to think that I actually ENJOY dating now, but I do! Just meeting new people and always knowing I have a new opportunity around the corner takes a lot of the pressure off. Plus working with the match makers is a lot of fun too. They do a great job of getting to know each of us and you can tell in talking with them that they enjoy what they do and are not afraid to tell it like it is!

This is a fun way to meet people and I recommend giving it a try if you are a young professional that is over the whole online thing.…

After a few strikes, knocked it out of the park!. When I first joined I had gotten out of a 20 year marriage a couple of years before and hadn't explored many options when it came to dating. I couldn't even remember what it was like to go out on a date and the thought scared the hell out of me. My friends had tried online dating and I didn't feel comfortable with that given that I teach in a somewhat small community. The thought of a student seeing me is pretty mortifying!

I felt really safe with the concept because I would have the support of the other women I would meet and I could have a buffer between an eventual one on one date. Mandy really gave me a lot of encouragement, even calling me on the nigh of my first dinner to give me a pep talk! That was the first of a few dinners where I met some really nice people, some who are now very close friends. I began to recognize after each dinner that I had a better sense of what types of men I was open to dating, and it was so helpful to be able to analyze things with an expert. When I got the courage to go out one on one I met Paul. I really felt as I sat in front him on our first meeting that Mandy had somehow manufactured a prototype based on everything I had shared with her. Luckily he felt the same way! Paul and I celebrated our 1 year anniversary yesterday and we both anticipate that it will be the first of many.

I am so glad that with some encouragement, guidance, and support I was smart enough to try it until it worked.…

Met a great guy. My experience from Table for Six has been a nice surprise. I have met so many amazing people. The ladies who are my match makers always take great account of whom I am looking for. I haven't found the one yet, but I am extremely hopeful with the matches that I have received. Good job, Ladies! Keep em' coming.…
