amazing sleeper.
I love this place. I've been twice and am going again this week. The menu is creative and cooked to perfection. Service is outstanding. The wine list is extensive, but a tad pricy.
The strange thing is that it's in a Marriott Hotel lobby. Yes, the Marriott, not the Ritz. The decor is boring and the drop ceilings must go. Just close your eyes and image somewhere else. Your taste buds will be singing. When you leave your mouth and brain are happy, but you're not overly stuffed. The local organic ingredients are the spot light.
This place is better than some of the highest rated places in the Bay Area: Gary Danko, Fifth Floor, Manresa..... I've taken clients from out of town recently, and they were blown away.

Chef Robert Sapirman executes farm-fresh California cuisine at this sophisticated dining room in Santa Clara..
In Short
Like any good restaurant from Bradley Ogden (who's responsible for eight award-winning properties from San Francisco to Las Vegas), this comfortable, clean-lined space in the Santa Clara Marriott boasts an impressive wine list and thoughtful, innovative cuisine. Here the focus is on the exclusive use of local, seasonal produce, seafood and meat in changing menus ("parcel 104" is the name of a cultivated plot of local land). Chef Robert Sapirman plays with top-tier ingredients for California starters and entrees, and notable pastry chef Carlos Sanchez makes saving room for dessert a must.

Fresh Ingredients.
Food was pretty good, but disapointing in comparison to Ogden's other restaurants. It seems like he hasn't been here in awhile. I was told there was a new chef, but the menu felt stale. Very expensive, and the restaurant appeared empty even though the bar and hotel were so busy it took 20 minutes to valet. In the middle of nowhere! Food temperature was not hot, but the waiter really tried to make sure we were taken care of. Unfortunately good service can't make up for mediocre food.

amazing meal.
Parcel 104 lived up to it's expectations and even surpassed them. The 3 course meal was delicious and entree portions were very generous. The food was simple but flavorful and elegantly plated. The wine we had (half bottle of syrah) was fantastic if a little bit pricey, but worth it. Service was professional and courteous and courses were well paced. The dining room is beautiful and quiet overall. Didn't feel pretentious. Overall, a wonderful dining experience!

Unbelievable desserts.
Every bite you sample in this incredible restaurant is well worth the price. The desserts are incredible. Parcel 104 is the only restaurant worth talking about in a city ( Santa Clara ) that's quickly becoming the capital of run-down strip malls. ps: people who read this prior to editing, please forgive my spelling. There are no deserts in Parcel 104. Only unbelievable desserts.

Excellent food, a little nouvelle cuisine.
I have to disagree with some of the other reviews here, I thought the food was actually excellent. Not huge portions, but not ridiculously small either. Wasn't cheap, and
the atmosphere is a little formal but not stuffy - overal a good place for a special occasion, and something a little special and different. My guests were very impressed with the food
too.

Sevice Good, But Not Worth All The Hype.
Very average restaurant with alot of HYPE..but GREAT service.
You think this restaurant with all its celebrity & hoopla would be better than the rest or better than average.
But I found the food & decor uninspiring.
The restaurant was disapointedly AVERAGE.

Amazing service and good food.
Went as a large group with a reservation, the restaurant was very accomodating even when we were a bit larger than expected. The service was impeccable, though the price was a tad bit high. The food was very good, and the wine list seemed decent.

Absolutely worth the money!!!.
I've been dined here since it first opens its door.. since they shutted down the Seafood bar, I don't go there that often anymore.
We went there recently & we were still impressed with the consistent of the food & service. The Lamb Chop was incredible nice. The Fois Gras was just right. The Tartar Tuna was fresh & tasty. Last but not least, the sampler dessert is to die for... My mother fell in love with steak!!! It was so juicy & just perfect as medium rare! Yum!
Of course, it's a fine dining, so for a couple the average bill would probably be $150 without alchohol, but it's worth it if you are into WINE & DINE!!! It's rare to find a truly fine dining around Silicon Valley. No wonder they make it to Wine Spectator again this year!!!

Valentine's Day Lunch.
My wife and I enjoyed a Valentine's Day lunch. While the food was good...crab/pumpkin bisque, crab club sandwich, it was a bit pricey for lunch. Average value. The ambiance was nice and the table service was average. I would describe it as meandering. I did enjoy the availability of wine flights that allowed you to taste three 2 oz glasses of similar wines. The pour was generous on this occasion. Overall I would give it a 3 1/2 out of 5 star rating.
