Buyer beware! Bought a Groupon and was excited to try there, but the woman on the phone said they were not accepting them for Friday lunches. This did not make sense since they were selling a GrouponNow! deal JUST for that lunch time. I called her and explained that, she said she would refuse people who tried to use it, and yelled at me. I called Groupon who gladly refunded my money and said they would call the merchant. Before buying an online deal with them, call the seller to confirm they are working within the rules/any issues now, and call the restaurant to see if they are accepting them .

Great place for good sushi. I like this place. Ports are large, you get a lot for what you pay for. The quality is good, sushi is good, no complaints here. Compared to some other sushi place I've been to, money well spent here. Miyake, Ariake, can't compare to this place. Furu-Sato has their own monogramed plates, you don't see that at many places... this place is clean, nice decor, oh and did I say the food is good? Order a bento box and you'll seem you stuffed yourself.

Ask for light up the candle, they will do it for you.

One of Worst. Ate here because of reviews. We have eaten at many Japanese Resturants, around the world. This could be one of the worst. Standard Chicken teriyaki was dry, had the manager taste it. She said next time tell them not to cook as long!!! Rib Eye Sukiyaki was not a rib eye, and flavor was marginal at best. Hawaiian poke, was not a poki, but a vineared fish, of some sort fish, the freshness-very bad. Children tempura plate, just had some vegies. Tried to explain our experience to the manager, and all she could say as they have won a award!! I would not recommend this resturant. There is one on Hamiltion called Sushi Z---- which is 10 times better

Best and most authentic South Bay Sushi. I have tried numerous Sushi places in the South Bay, and this one definitely stands out as the best of the bunch. The fish is brought in fresh daily, and is of the highest quality. The preparation of the rolls are delicate and melt in your mouth. And talking about ambiance, the interior reminds me of the small eateries in Kyoto, Japan. The service is attentive and friendly. The live piano, on Fridays and Saturdays, needs to be a little less loud, however. This is a cute stand-alone Japanese theme restaurant. It makes the sushi taste even more flavorful when you can savor it in authentic style surroundings, instead of the usual strip mall type environment. Yes, they are pricey. But, as the old saying goes, "you get what you pay for", and may I add...it is well worth it!

Excellent food!. Excellent sushi, parking is not a problem, and it is a very nice place. The waitresses are a little slow, but the cooks are very nice and prompt. For faster service, sit at the bar and not at a table. The food sometimes take a while, but if you wait long enough you will experience the best sushi in San Jose. Some say that it is priced too high during dinner, but I think that overall you get a great deal since the rolls are huge and the prices fairly inexpensive, especailly for the quality of the food. The spicy calimari appetizer is a MUST, trust me on that one. Looking for good sushi? This is a must.

Great Lunch Special. Dinner is pretty expensive for this restaurant, but if you go there during lunch time, you will get great food, plus good price too.

Spectacular Sushi!!. My husband and I walked in for the first time and didn't know what to expect. We are avid sushi lovers and have ate just about everywhere. We tried the sushi and sashimi

plate along with the tempura udon.......and it was nothing short of spectacular! It was so fresh and the presentation was just as impressive. The waitress was very nice and helpful. It is definitely a place to go on a first date or eating out with friends in general! We will go back!!
