Long annoying story short. The food is good, and that's the only reason I rated them as highly as I did.



Last month I ordered a pizza with added chicken and sundried tomatoes, but with no onions. What I got was a pizza with a couple of pieces of chicken, sausage instead of tomatoes, and extra onions.



When I called to have them send me a new pizza I was told it would take an hour for it to get to me. Too hungry to wait, I asked them not to charge me. I was told that they could not comp this order, but he'd put a note on my account so my next order could be free. I settled for that.



Tonight I decided to cash in on my comped meal. I ordered a large pizza, chicken strips and a salad.



I pointed out that the order was supposed to be free, but was told that the note on my account said I was entitled to a "buy one get one free" discount. This was not what I had been promised so I asked to speak to the manager. She very rudely told me that I could got get my entire order for free. If I wanted a free pizza I would have to order another one. I refused. Finally she agreed to give me the pizza for free if I payed for the chicken strips and the salad. I conceded and we hung up.



An hour later I get a call from a guy at the restaurant who told me that they had accidentally forgotten to make my order and had since run out of salads. He wondered if I wanted to replace the salad with something else or just have the cost removed from my bill.



I asked to speak to the manager because there was no way I should be paying for an incomplete and forgotten order that was supposed to have been comped in the first place.



The manager scoffed and told me that she would give me the order for free, but she was going to make me come to the store to pick it up myself. I told her that there was no way I'd be doing that, and that she'd probably be better off if she didn't have to see me in person, so I gave in and paid for the order to be delivered.



I will not be ordering from these people again.

High quality pizza for a great price!. When looking for a good tasting pizza, Papa John's can't be beat! The quality of toppings combined with variety of sauces and crusts means you can custom make just about any kind of Pizza! They always have a special deal going on or some coupons in the news paper. There are many side items as well and they are yummy! Next time you want to eat a good pizza, call your Papa!
