If I could give this a NO rating then I would. The food was good and service okay but when I went to pay the bill I was standing in line behind 2 women of color (who may have been Muslim based on their clothing). The staff (who was a white woman) at the front ignored them and another staff (Hispanic looking male) took their information. Instead of helping me (also a woman of color), the lady took the check from a white woman and provided services to her. Then she helped the white woman behind the white lady instead of helping me. Basically she helped the two white women first and did not even acknowledge me. If I was that type of person I would have walked out without paying the bill but the (Hispanic) man took my check and of course, he took my money. HE apologized to me but never did the other staff member look at me or apologized to me. May not have been a "racial" incident but whatever it was...it was rude. I won't be going back there and I highly recommend noone else to go there either.…
High price & lousy food...sad.
We came in for breakfast on an early Sat morning so no wait but we were seated at the back of the restaurant. We asked for coffee and I was very excited for a good cup of joe but it's not what we
got...the coffee was weak and had no flavor. My order was for french toast & crispy bacon..well the french toast was blah and the bacon must have been cooked earlier and tossed back on the grill...It was rubbery and very oily.
I was shocked at the price for two meals with coffee & one juice..ouch!
The Service was good but the food didn't deserve the $$$$.
Will not go back & we are regulars down town looking a better breakfast house.
Oh... we agree on the comments on Management as we were commenting on that after we left...always stressed and no warmth or reason for us to repeat the visit. Thumbs down...…
Foods are really good....
Foods are really good, a tad pricey but not too bad. We usually share an omelet(the wife's favorite) and I usually get French Toast or a waffle. The omelet's are cooked well as are the waffles, etc.
Eggs usually come with a hash brown kind of thing... it's diced potato's with onions. Pick the onions out and these are pretty good.
I think my favorite thing about this place is that they put a pitcher of ice water(with actual ice!!!!) on every table.…
Good food. Cozy. Love going here. Breakfasts are great, service is great. On Sundays, when they are especially crowded, you can wait outside where they serve all the coffee you can drink. Love to take my dog as they have outside service. The decor inside is comfy and cozy.…
- - -. The first time I've been to Stacks it was a Thursday morning. There was about a 20 minute wait but I'm glad I stuck around to try it out. I'm a breakfast person so automatically the extensive menu was a good start. Everything I ordered was pretty medicore however the pancakes here don't taste flat and were actually really good. The second time I went to Stacks it was a Sunday morning. It was a jungle itself to get in to sign up. The wait would have been close to 50 minutes. Stacks overall is a pretty decent breakfast restaurant however if you're starving for some immediate breakfast I think your stomach would forgive you if you passed.…
