Buy your car here!
I stopped in here with my husband, and I must admit I was expecting the typical pushy sales tactics. We were blown away and pleasantly surprised by LARRY PEREA. He was so patient and helpful and so far from pushy. He was fabulous.
In addtion, sales manager DAVID WEI in the process of negotiating, at one point came back over to us after numbers had already been agreed upon-not to try and get more money out of us, but to tell us he was able to get us an even LOWER price. When does that happen at a car dealership? Almost never, right?
Anyway we were so so happy with the service and the deal we got. You want a VW? Then this is your place...
Just wanted to share this with
everyone, so I wanted to share here as well...
Okay.. who really wants to go to a Car Dealership and go through the hassles.??? Oh yeah but I have no choice since I have bad credit and it's my first car too...
I was really impressed with this dealership, especially with Frank and Raja. They both were very friendly, helpful and not pushy. I would recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you again to all that helped us as we are very excited and happy about our new car and the deal we received. !!
We purchased a car here last weekend. Larry Perea and Frank Spagnola helped us and they were both brilliant. We really appreciated their non-pushy straight forward sales style. They are incredibly friendly and very helpful. Larry even drove us home and back to the dealership (then home again) because we had to return a hire car.
This review gets FIVE PLUS stars for Stevens Creek Volkswagen but especially for their internet sales manager BRANKO!!! Branko was very courteous and professional throughout my car buying experience. He was quick to get back to me and always polite and to the point. Not only that, but being that I live in San Diego, Branko actually offered to drive the car down here personally on his day off (eight hours on the road) so I wouldn't have to drive that unfamiliar route alone! What a gentleman! The car is beautiful and in pristine condition and I couldn't be happier. The price was fair and reasonable. One more extra thank you to Branko... not only did you meet all of my expectations, you exceeded them. I am very impressed.
Just wanted to say a ginormous THANK YOU to the folks in the service dept! The warranty on our car expired last year but thanks to Joe's persistence with VWs customer advocate, the $1200 repair got covered and paid for by VW 100%. Thanks guys, you rock!!!
great service.
I signed up for an account just so I could give Stevens Creek Volkswagen the props it deserves.
I am by no means a car person and feel a warm glow simply by figuring out how to open the hood. So as you can imagine I am very wary of being ripped of or taken for a ride by a mechanic because everyone knows somebody who was victim to a dishonest mechanic
I'm new to the city and found these guys by searching on Google. I took my Touareg there because on an issue with the car. From the moment I walked in and greeted by Joe Castelino and his crew, I felt like I came to the right place, and now that the work has been done- I'm still convinced of it.
They were fast and even gave me a no charge rental the day I brought it in! They were fairly priced and were very patient in explaining to me all the intricacies of the problem I was having and now I actually feel like I've grown a couple of chest hairs from that butch manly knowledge.
It was easy for me to get over there from HWY 280 and it was well worth the trip and I will be going back the next time I need to (which i hope is not any time soon).
5 Stars easy.
Joe

best service ever......
My experience was very very good. I read all the reviews on internet and I still went there anyway because they had the car I wanted in stock.
So, Mark the salesman approached me and he was very nice and told me everything I need to know about the Jetta. I had a great deal which is better pricing than carsdirect website. Finance guy was pleasant and I got the rate which I had it in my mind. Overall, I experienced a better service than what others mentioned in their review. I will give them my business again..
Bad business practices and lies. I would give this dealership zero stars but the program forces me to choose at least one. I recently leased or thought I had leased a new CC. I submitted a credit application one week prior to heading over to the dealership to look at the car. They said I was approved and sent me home with lease contract, and my new car. Two weeks goes by and I recieve a generic looking letter in the mail stating that they cannot find financing and I must return the vehicle. So I call the finance manager who lies to me and says that he never said the car was mine! Why would my name be on the registration of a car that isn't mine? He then goes on to say that if I want to buy a different car, or agree to a different down payment he can draw up a new financing contract. I thought they couldn't get financing for me, sounds like they are trying to make more money out of the deal. I am returning the now used car to them and will take my business to a legitimate dealership. I would recommend that everyone stay away from the crooks at this dealership. Bad business is not a good thing to practice in a slow economy, when plenty of other places are hungry for a sale.
I am taking legal action against Stevens Creek VW.
In December of 2007, I received a promotional letter addressed to me from SCVW to bring in my 2004 Beetle to trade in for a new 2007.
I went readily as I had purchased a 2004 Beetle from them, but the payments were high, and I wanted to unload it because I needed more room as I now had disabilities and a dog. The dealership did not honor the promotion which stipulated no money down, and made no credit worthiness disclaimer. They kept me there from 1Pm until near 8PM bringing out various older modelled cars Jetta and Passant and other makes, trying to get me to buy a model years less than the one I had. They did not sell me an' 07 VW. They said my credit was not good enough. They eventually sold me a trade-in 2005 Taurus (didn't tell me it was aleased vehicle) and wrote the contract for $300 downpay of $294 a month. Shortly, they claimed they could not finance the car at that price, and without my consent tore up the contract and wrote another, raising the price.
Eventually I went home, but two days later they called me in because that deal didn't fly with their financers. So, they filled out the change of contract form this time, and wrote another contract, increasing the interest rate and cost. Before tis deal was over, I paid $500 downpay and they had written the contract three times; let me take the car and after 20 days, they send me registered mail trying to rescind the deal because the financing fell through. At the last minute, they found financing, and I kept the car. Later, I found the car had mechancal problems( brakes) and odometer and that the drive train warranty (with a$250.00 deductible--no less) was wortheless. They are a remorseless, thieving and slick bunch. Stay away. I'll never do business with them again. I am suing. Oh, I reported to them DMV and they recommended I do the action. That's the recourse. No stars for them. The program made me choose one.
