enjoyable. we loved the food. and planned to go back every chance we get. The hot links were good but a bit spicy for me, but if you like spicy foods by all means enjoy. Finally a real honest to goodness soul food. often you go to resturants and find others cooking i don't call that authentic. the greens pie omg baked beans excellent. don't let the price keep you from going. i found the staff pretty friendly. cut back on the salt in the greens. they will be adding more to the menu.

Dissapointment. Aside from the wierd hours of operation, the owners are extremely grumpy, and the bbq tasted like it was a day old. Yuck! The only good thing about the restaurant was the fried chicken, but anyone could make that.

I love their food. i think that you all should go there i take my friends co workers and family there all the time their food is delicious it is an higly recomended place

Pricey!. I guess you have to pay for the convenience for not having to fly to Lousiana for the food.. It's great food, but expensive! I want to take a few of my friends there, but they always opt out because it costs too much for our little lunch excursions. Their ribs are EXCELLENT. Service is ok, generally one of the younger girls in the family, I imagine. Overall, I like eating here, but can't as often as I wish. I usually opt for cheaper, but undeniably less tasty options.

OK BBQ joint, closed occasionally, call ahead. I work only a couple miles from this place and oddly enough out of the 10 times I've visited, they've been closed about 1/2 the time. (Offsite catering was the most common reason) The few times I actually ate there, their Soul Burger was tasty, but very dry. Their Hot link was nice and spicy, but their sides were very ordinary. (Fries, greens, beans, corn, etc...) All in all, call ahead to make sure they're open before you go.
