Although I've only been to bean scene once, I loved it there. I love the atmosphere at the cafe. It's very homely and welcoming. The day I went, local performers performed and sang songs. Everyone in the cafe stopped what they were doing and listened and respected the performers. It was great, I highly recommend this cafe. It's better than the big chain stores like Starbucks.

Convenient Murphy St. location with great coffee and expresso drinks and sandwiches. A nice quiet place to go in the evening for dessert & coffee.

I've been to this coffee shop several times both as a customer and as a musician performing. The coffee and atmosphere are great at this little place. I highly recommend the white hot chocolate--it's a favorite for all of us in my band each time we perform.
