Theme Park Fish Shack. I don't know how I got talked into this place, but there we were, ordering clam chowder. With all of the stellar restaurants in Santana Row, we got stuck in the barnacle.

If you are a fan of Captain Nemos fish shack in any random theme park, this is the perfect place for you.

Good Chowder. I enjoyed myself here. The clam chowder was thick and creamy...two thumbs up, and the crab was no slouch. I will definatly be back. Our waiter was fairly accomodating he was always there when i needed a refill. So no comlaints there. The only complaint i could really think of that would warrant some concern, was the way they treated their staff. Alot of yelling and cursing. Not a very civil thing to do in front of customers. And the oysters could have been much fresher. All in all it was good, but they need to address management issues that require loud yelling privatly. That part was extremly unprofessional .

Kid Friendly??. My girlfriends and I went with our toddlers for lunch. When we entered, the hostess, who was training, was very friendly and seated us. To our dismay, the waiters and waitresses were RUDE enough to scold the hostess in front of us for seating us because they were not yet opened for lunch - didn't see a sign outside with hours and all the doors were opened. We apologized and said we can leave and come back in 5 minutes or so but they said it was alright. But we got looks from everyone! The "kids meals" were piping hot when they served it. What's up with that? All in all, the food was good but no "WOW!". The servers all had attitudes so we left a poor tip - and I'm a BIG tipper now that I have a toddler. I'll never give them my business again.

horrible service and food is not that great. We went to Yankee Pier for dinner on Wednesday March 21, 2007. When we were greeted by the hostess, she told us to wait for a table when the restaurant was empty. We got seated in the cold back patio. It seemed though as if all the colored people were seated in that section because all the white people were sitting in the warm inside or outside of the restaurant were there were nice heaters and nice views of the shops at Santana Row. Our server was very rude, she didn't bother to serve us. She didn't bring out plates for the bread and when my girlfriend asked the hostess for plates, she gave us dirty plates. Our server didn't even notice or bother to care about the dirt on the plates. We also ordered lobster and she said it was served cold when we asked it to be served hot. It's not that hard to heat up a lobster, I think she was being lazy or not wanting to give us what we wanted. I am never coming back here again. We were treated like prisoners on angel island. This restaurant should be shut done because there is a lot of better places out there were the service actually pays attention to the customers.

good lobster roll. My aunt and I had lunch on a Tuesday and the the service was courteous and prompt. My aunt enjoyed her lobster roll and I enjoyed my chowder and shrimp salad.

Our table outside was fun because we could people watch as we dined.

My beer was served in a iced glass and my aunts tea was served with hot hot water and lemon, just as she likes it.

do not go. I was not only forgotten, I was treated like a dog. The service is bad, the food is ok at best. The prices are what you would see in a true fine dinning restaurant. All in all do not go. It will not only take you all night it will take you straight to the bank for less then par grub/

Friendly Staff - but service is SLOW AS MOLASSES. Everyone is super friendly, the atmosphere is child friendly, but can definitely get extremely loud - even for folks with children - the children end up being the quiet of the bunch.

Prices are a bit high for the volume of food being served. But I guess that's why it's in Santana Row.

It's alright. I only go for their oysters. I like to sit outside, order oysters and a mango martini or bloody mary and watch the people out to see and be seen on Santana Row. Pretty funny stuff. I'm no connoisseur, but I really like their oysters and there's something about their cocktail sauce that's yummy to me... Their burger is also surprisingly good, but everything else is mediocre... average at best. The servers aren't very attentive, but service isn't horrible. Indoor seating feels stuffy and slightly humid. I always end up back there but never order anything but oysters. Weird, I know.

Excellent Meal and Service!. My hunband and I ate here on Friday, October 7, around 9 PM.

We were seated immediatly at a wonderful outdoor table. The waitress was great, when I miss read the menu and thought the 'Chilled Shrimp' appetizer said 'Grilled Shrimp" she let me know with a laugh, and said, "don't worry it happens all tghe time, we can grill them for you, if you would like"...I did and they were great!

I am not a huge seafood person, so I had the skirt steak, it was amazind, cooked perfectly and so tender and full of flavor.

A friend recommend the restaurant and after reading the mixed reviews here we almost did not go...but we are so glad we did!

Great meal at Yankee Pier. We had a great dinner at Yankee Pier this past week. Superb service, great meals. Chowder was wonderful, corn soup great, the Ahi was excellent. Desserts are amazing. The outdoor seating was just the ticket, and our waitress and other servers could not have been more attentive. I'll be back!
