Best Mussels!!.
My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner. I know its a pizza place but when I see mussels on the menue I just have to get them.
We also had pizza and desert and everything was done to perfection. I even got a pizza to take home for later.
The service was very good.
LOVE IT!.
I absolutely love this place. Right in the heart of Santana Row and the food is amazing. I go there every time I'm in town and I've never been disappointed with the food or service. If you're looking for traditional NY style pizza or that thick crust stuff with traditional toppings, you probably won't like this place. But if you're into super thin crust pizza with a variety of gourmet toppings, you simply cannot go wrong.
If you're looking for a quick meal, you're probably better off ordering from one of those pizza chains. Know that the wait to get a table is really long (45mins when busy) but what popular place isn't? The food takes a while as well but it's well worth it. Perfect for chilling with friends and conversation over a mouthwatering slice of heaven.
I'm going to be in town this weekend and I will definitely make time to eat there!
Good pizza and friendly staff. The pizza was good, that was to be expected from the other reviews, but they must have been reading Citysearch because the service was pretty good. We even requested a table move after being seated and were accomodated even though the restaurant was slightly busy. They do not accept reservations, but do take calls about 30 minutes ahead of time to get your name in.
Fine food. Bad service. I went there with my boyfriend two weeks ago for lunch. I asked for a table for two and the waitress was really rude, and only smile to some people. There is no place to wait for a table. The food was just average.
Not worth the money.
I went to Pizza Antica with friends this past Saturday for dinner.
When I got to the restaurant, I wasn told that our table was being set up -- well 45 minutes later, my party still has not been seated.
The service was less than expected -- no refills on the water unless asked, 1 small plate of focaccia for a party of 7 - -again no one asked if we wanted more. Had to ask
for additional plates and napkins....
The quality of the food was average -- the portion size for the price was small. I do not
understand where all the praise for their pizza originates. Fortunately, there are
many significantly better restaurants in Santana Row not to mention other restauarants
specializing in Pizza.
Tried it twice, not happy!. Reading the high reviews made us try this place. First of, we ordered some mussels that weren't fresh at all so we stopped eating after tasting 3. The waiter eventually came around, asked if we were done and just took them away, no questions as to why we didn't eat 90% of the dish! We let that go and eagerly awaited our pizzas. My pizza tasted extremely salty so I sent it back but the second one came back just as bad. My boyfriend's pizza was ok so he gave the place another try for a biz lunch. He ordered the field greens salad and it was just plain greens drenched in dressing, even though he asked for the dressing on the side - no tomatoes, cucumbers, nothing!! for 7-8 bucks! So needless to say, we are done with that place. What a disappointment!!!
good food doesn't make up for bad service. My wife and I ordered a pizza to share on Saturday afternoon. The pizza took 20 minutes to arrive. It's a thin pizza, bake time was probably 5-10 minutes. When the waitress finally brought out our pizza, she didn't bring us any plates. When our water glass/pitcher was empty, she didn't bother to refill it. When our ice tea was empty, she didn't bother to refill it. This is not the kind of service appropriate for Santana Row. It's actually not appropriate service for any restaurant.
Good pizza.... friendly vibe, nice servers, but a pricey. We will be going back regularly... my wif may have a crush on the waiter. Jokes aside a nice spot for dinner.
Fun place.... but waht isn't at Santana Row. The staff is fun but the food is overrated and pretty expensive. One person can eat a large pizza.
Great Service. Our first experience here left us wondering. But after a few more times, we "got" it and this place really grows on you. The formula here is great tasting food that won't make waistline bulge. It is "diet pizza" that you can eat without guilt. Until understanding this we were thinking, "you have to be kidding" at the portion size. The best thing on the menu is hidden: the Piadini up on the top right. Just writing this makes my mouth water to go and eat one. The service is consistently good. In short: a great place to "gorge" on tasty food and not have to go into a food coma afterwards.
