More hype than substance.
The food was ok, but not what I thought it would be.
Went because heard they were supposed to be so good, saw lines, so thought they had to be great.
It was a decent burger, but not the best I have ever ate.
When I go for a burger, I want something that is a little better than what I could make at home, and it wasn't.

The country's first drive-thru chain with made-from-scratch burgers and a devout following..
In Short
Founded in 1948, In-N-Out locations are known for their eye-catching yellow-arrow logo and spic-and-span red and white interiors. The streamlined menu includes fries, beverages and three types of hamburgers. These all-beef burgers are topped with fresh vegetables and Thousand Island-like dressing on griddled buns with optional American cheese; fries--oversized potatoes with the skins still on--are dunked in cholesterol-free cottonseed oil until just the outsides are done.
