Great Reliable Customer Service. I have been booking through Sai Travels for the past 10 year. This year, I was little nervous because of multiple tickets and different travel dates for my family members The person who helped me (Anu) was very patient and took time to really understand all my requirements. Even with the summer rush, she was able to find some seats and get the best possible price. She was very prompt in getting back on the ticket availability and trying all possible options. I purchased a ticket from Sai Travels for
SFO - Munich(Germany) - BOM and return
BOM - Munich(Germany) - Frankfut (Germany) - SFO
The airline was Lufthansa.
To travel from 1 EU city to another a Schengen Visa is required. The travel agent never asked me or informed me about such an requirement.
I was not allowed to board the Munich flight from Mumbai airport and was stuck there. I was just lucky to get 1 last seat in the next flght to Frankfurt. Had I not got this ticket I would have been stuck in Mumbai for atleast a week since it is the holiday season.
After calling up Sai travels on my return, I came to know that they were not even aware of such visa requirements. Instead of accepting their mistake they argued and talked rudely. The Lufthansa staff at Mumbai airport were shocked that the travel agent were so careless and dint even inform me about it.
Please dont rely on Sai travels for any more information other than the ticket and the charges. They are not bothered about any other requirements or information to be given to the passengers. Think twice before purchasing a ticket from them.…

I contacted Sai travels to book my tickets for India travel next year. I was initially happy to see a quick response from them and the agents were quite helpful initially to provide me good
alternatives.
However, my suffering started after I gave a nod on booking my tickets. The agent I spoke to went into hibernation and did not even respond to my emails or phones. When she finally responded after couple of days, it was with a promise of another phone call, which obviously did not happen. Today, it is more than a week from when I had told them to book the tickets but instead of having tickets in my hand, i don't even have info on what the status on bookings is.
And when I could connect to their office today, there was another agent who seemed extremely rude and high handed in his conduct. The only thing he has to say is - we cannot do anything. When asked questions like why you can't call your clients and tell if there are problems in booking tickets etc - his answer to every question is - we can't do anything, as if he was reading from a script (but does not fail to add his frustration to it).
In my view, this is a perfect example of bad service and poor customer handling. And of course, it's a perfect recipe to ruin your name and reputation that is so hard to build and takes time.…
