Good Salad, Mediocre Way Too Expensive Meal. Every member of dining party had specific complaints... a group of people generally satisfied at restaurants. We felt the meals very average, served cool rather than hot, and very overpriced for what one gets. I have NEVER written a restaurant review and dine out regularly. My hope is to save others from blowing a wad of cash when they can do MUCH better elsewhere. The only dish that anyone enjoyed was the $10 beet salad. We chose the waiters recommendation and had a cold meal, hastily eaten just to have anything warm for the meal. $3 cup of coffee was weak, cold, and was sent back. Recommend everyone read reviews on all web sites... this one has much higher reviews than others I have read since mediocre meal. Research in advance will preclude you making the same mistake I did!!

They know how to do fish!!. We went there for lunch. We are big foodies and especially love gourmet seafood recipes. This place does it right. The tartar appetizer with salmon and hamachi was dreamy -- seriously! I will be dreaming about that one and coming back for it. My husband had the Petrale Sole -- healthy portion size, beautiful buerre blanc. I also had the Chicken Teriyaki Wrap (don't know why) and it was pretty tasty, but I wouldn't order that again. I should have tried something else. Most of the tables around us were ordering burgers -- they must be good there. And, the place was packed. What's interesting about the wine list: they have half bottles! I wish more places would do that. The half-bottle was made for restaurants. However, the red wine list is quite poor. We had to order a white while we'd normally order a red. We'll bring our own next time. The service was friendly, but a bit slow. Took us 15mins to get our bottle of wine. But, we'll forgive that as they were very busy. Oh, and another note: The waiter (Carlos) was really sweet, but he immediately reviewed the tip of each bill he picked up and would banter with the other waiters about it. The table next to us obviously left a small tip and he appeared to be ripping on them from the servers station --pointing them out to other waiters. We left a nice tip and he made a point to come up to us as we left and thank us. That's so cheesy. Waiters should really be more professional about the whole gratuity thing. Such a turn off. But, I'm ranting... that was a small issue in comparison to how great the food was. We look forward to coming back and trying some other items.

Relatively standard. For a place specializing in seafood, I was hoping for a more inspiring menu. The food was good, and service was attentive, but overall it was nothing to rave about.

Classic seafood fare served in a comfortable setting in downtown Mountain View.. In Short
A spin-off of the upscale Scott's Seafood restaurants in Palo Alto and San Jose, this more casual, moderately priced restaurant has quickly proven popular with business diners, hungry families and romancing couples. The menu is deep--featuring such regular seafood favorites as hearty cioppino, steamed Manila clams, blackened sea bass and seared ahi tuna, as well as a few non-fishy items such as grilled pork and beef dishes.
