Avoid at all costs. Probably the best place to get in a fight by accident in San Jose. We saw two the night we were there. Good times!

On a more important note, what kind of divey college bar charges $5 for a Miller Lite?

Editorial Review. Downtown cantina evokes hazy spring break memories with tropical beach decor, live music, Mexican seafood favorites and plenty of tequila.

Below Average to Bad. Were these reviews written by the owners and employees? This place is awful! The drinks are ok. The service is ok. The crowd consists of the bottom rung of the Silicon Valley. The music is the same every day. Not recommended AT ALL.

Got Drunk ?. This is the place to go in San Jose, hands down! We went to a show at the Improv across the street and this place was cranking when we got out . We waited in line for about 15 min. but it was well worth it. Some girls were carrying around these bucket's of margarita's when we got in, so we bought one. That was the begining of the end for us. If you like bar's packed with hot women " Dancing on the Bar", strong drinks, and a fun atmosphere . This is the place to go .

Tres, the place to be!. This place is the BEST party place to go in San Jo! Ladies, there are always yummy guys. The music is great, atmosphere is just like Cancun....spring break-year round. Overall, its a great crowd, good looking people and good times. If you feel like it, you can walk next door to SJBG or jump across the street to shake it at the Voodoo Lounge.

Cabo San Lucas In Downtown San Jose?. Tres Gringos, Baja Cantina is the best thing that has happened to San Jose Since the opening of San Jose Bar & Grill 2 years ago. If you haven't been there yet, just picture any bar in cabo san lucas in mexico, put it in san jose and there you go. The bar is awesome! It has a thatch roof running over what has to be the longest bar in san jose, and you feel like you are at the beach in Mexico. They have some of the best tropical drinks i've ever had. They're blended margaritas are the strongest and the best tasting ones i've ever had. By the way, Fellas, the chicks are off the hook in Tres and on Second Street in general at San Jose Bar & Grill and VooDoo Lounge Too.

Party Place. I love this place!!! There are always hot chicks everytime I go. The music is awsome and the food...Then you can bar hop to the other bars on the street. Its crazy on 2nd Street.! If you havent been here yet your missing out. Last time I was there there were 4 girls dancing on the bar. I felt like I was really in Mexico.
