The place is played out. and the service really does need improvement. I've seen the bouncers keep people waiting in line during the rain when the bar was only half full more than once. Additionally, the kitchen closes whenever it wants. Twice I've gone there to eat and it closed early and even the bartenders were confused. Needless to say, I was ticked.

Bar tenders. This bar is a very popular place, and I think the bartenders know it. The bar tenders ignore you and are rude.

Absolutely awful service. After hearing excellent reviews from friends and reading the previous responses here, my guy and I decide to give SJBG a try last night. BIG mistake! The bartender completely ignored us the entire night and every portion of food we ordered was loaded with salt. It might be an ok place for drinks, but the service detracts from it. Stay away!

This is the PLACE. We love the great atmosphere, the food is delightful, and the drinks are the best. You can always watch your favorite sporting event on the various TV's. The services is excellent.
