Avoid this salon on santana row; it's overpriced. considering this salon is on santana row, this salon is an absolute disappointment. i've been to high end salons and this is no where near it's match. while i was waiting for my haircut, i observed the receptionist rolling her eyes while giving directions to a customer over the phone. she did not sound pleasant. the hairstylists were joking about bodily discharges which i found immature and unprofessional. the stylist who cut my hair looked tense; she was a bit clumsy; she dropped the comb and scissors. i was not satisfied with my hair cut. i could have gone somewhere less expensive for the same cut. i would NOT recommend W salon. it's overpriced.

No matter what your lifestyle is, you'll always get a style that will compliment your look!. I've been following this salon and one particular stylist of W's for 10+ years, and to date, the staff and feeling of the salon never cease to amaze me with feeling welcomed and comfortable.

When I send friends to the salon, I've been told that they get asked about their lifestyle, so that they can receive a cut that reflects who and what they are. For example, I don't have the time in the morning to spend hours on my hair (who does?!), I love to be outdoors doing sports, but I lead a corporate lifestyle where black is my wardrobe. So I've had my hair cut really short (like Sharon Stone) to really long (it's in the middle of my back) and each time, I am completely satisified with the style because I can get ready quickly and still feel that my hair reflects the trends of today's runways without the preperation time.

The other thing I like about the salon is the attention to detail. For example, when I change into my robe prior to my wash, I am given a key to a mini locker for my personal belongings. When my hair is washed, the assistants always close with a scalp massage- omgoodness it's so great! While my hair is getting done, I'm always asked if I would like a cold bottle water. Whenever I'm in the chair, the staff always say hello, whether I'm their client or not. It's just the basics and the details, and the sense of warmth that I like when I go to W's. It's always a great feeling when I walk in the door, because I always know I'm going to walk out looking and feeling better than when I stepped in; it's my little retreat.

Don't go to W's if you want a haircut, go to get your hair styled!

A Great Salon among other salons. W's Salon is such a wonderful place. It is small enough that everyone knows you, but large enough that it always seems busy and energetic. The price is reasonable considering it is in Santana Row. After your appointment, there are fabulous shops that you can go exploring or try some of the great restaurants.

Didn't even open the shop on time. When I showed for my appt. the salon was not even open. Finally someone showed 15 minutes later when I was about to leave. The haircut was pretty average and I would've expected much better for the price!
