-. There is no competition. It puts my old club to shame. There is tons of parking, excess space to stretch, warmup & workout, lcd tvs (I'm talking 60"+), internet, indoor pool, tidy locker rooms, I could go on. The whole club is clean and spacious. I've worked out at Gold's, Bally's, and 24's and this is definitely the best club I've ever been a member of. The price is higher than other clubs around, but the difference doesn't get any clearer.

Great atmosphere, and a fun workout. I visited this gym in my quest to find a replacement for 24-Hour Fitness, which I've grown to loathe.

I have an unusual work schedule, which involves working in the mornings, having the afternoons off, and then returning to work in the evenings. So, I worked out in the afternoon, which was very uncrowded, but it would be at almost any gym at that time.

This particular club has day spa and massage services in the front. This and the furnishings all add a comfortable feeling to the club.

The locker room is incredible! It reminded me of the women's locker room at the Olympic Club. They're commodious with a coat hanger bar across the top. Some lockers can be rented for an additional monthly charge. Towels are plentiful, as are other grooming supplies. Showers were hot and strong.

My actual workout was fun. The equipment was first rate. I really appreciated having the screens on the cardio equipment. I think it can work out longer by being distracted by what's on the tube. Besides, I can never use the excuse that's something good is on TV. I can watch AND work out. Trainers were on the floor working with patrons. Two of the trainers also have training in physical therapy, which would be good for me.

I really enjoyed working out at this club.

This is the best club in San Jose!. This place is gorgeous. It is the nicest fitness facility I've been a member of... it has major wow factor. The people are so professional and caring. The towels and toiletries make getting ready there a breeze. It is so clean and has great classes and equipment. I'm just hope it doesn't get too crowded... Right now it's perfect. I'm waiting for a dues increase, because I think they are undercharging... but I'm not complaining :)

Worst customer service. I am absolutely irate over how Club One has handled my account. They are basically stealing my money. First of all, even though I quit the club they are continually withdrawing the monthly fee from my checking account. I had to call my bank and get them to stop the payments and now my bank is involved trying to get my money back. Secondly, I signed up with a coupon for one month free locker use and so far this has turned into a 3-month battle to have them stop charging my account after the free month was up. Not only that, in the last two months, they even charged me DOUBLE in locker fees. After one month of empty promises from the finance department, I am still trying to get my refund for the extra locker charges and fighting to get my last month's fees refunded. With all their talk, nice facilities (and of course higher fees), I thought I was joining a club where customer service would be a high priority, but how wrong I was!!

Nice facility, but customer service is bad. I have mixed feelings about this club. On the one hand, the facility is really nice - it feels like a day spa and the locker rooms are top-notch. However, I don't think the place is well-managed. I had a male staff member enter the women's locker room while I was in there - granted it was about a minute or two after the club had closed - but that kind of thing really shouldn't happen in a high end club. Another incident - I received a phone call from a massage therapist about 30 min before my appointment time to tell me that she had been double-booked and would have to cancel me. I was not offered any kind of compensation for this rude oversight.

A Nice Club. This is one of the nicest and newest places to work out in the valley. Club One has the staff and equipment (latest) to accomodate the serious fitness freak to the casual fitness freak. The place is clean and the equipment maintained. There are a variety of classes and personal trainers. The atmosphere is one that will accomodate ages from young to the many retirees that work out in the morning. Parking can be difficult in the evenings.
