College college college.
What more do you expect from a college bar in a college town? The service wasn't bad and the food surprisingly edible. Nothing too serious either bad or good, just another place to see and be seen.

don't try it w/ a fake. Fun place, but don't even think about coming with friends who have fake IDs. The bouncers all get something like a $200 bonus for each one they snag.

Great for NFL. The Old Pro is especially great for watching NFL games on Sundays as they do a good job of spacing the games around on the different HD televisions, and posting which games will be on each screen.

Great place to hang out at after a hard day at Facebook.
I have spend quite a few evenings here with fellow Facebookers to celebrate yet another milestone or just to wind down after a hard days work of making the web more social.
The place is spacious, the beer is great and the crowd rocks.

WATCH OUT! ORGANIZED RIP_OFFS BY WAITRESSES.
Generally, just another sports bar with nothing special to recommend it other than location,
cleanliness and good TVs with wide range of sports.
HOWEVER - they refuse to show you a printed list of liquor, wine and beer prices (which is actually
illegal) and have a fairly sophisticated price-jacking operation that I believe is confined to the
waitresses (i.e., management is unaware of the scheme).
Until I got wise, I was a regular customer, finally realizing that $2.00 additional charges to "bring
pitchers to table" and "$5 extra for chicken or meat" AFTER you've already eaten your supposed
$9.95 order of nachos were a staple method of rip-off.
Kids will be kids, but I'd really like management to exercise enough responsibility to stop it

OVER PRICED- Even with their specials. Awful service. The waitress look like the night of the living dead. And have the nerve to be rude. No drink specials. Rip off . They have ruined what THE OLD PRO use to stand for. So sad.

Good food, good atmosphere. Old pro is a great around-the-corner sports bar if you live in the Palo Alto/Menlo Park area. Good-sized tables to hang out with a small or large group of friends and order appetizers and beers. TVs on the walls to catch whatever sports are on. They have a mechanical bulll in the corner - pretty fun to ride or watch others. I'd go again and again to this place for a chill, fun, hangout with friends.

Great atmosphere/ tons of huge HD plasmas and a Mechanical Bucking Bronco.
Great, fun spot with solid friendly staff.
Food is large portioned and a great value.
No hostess- just pick your table. They have long community tables which make it fun to meet new people.
They also have "Beerzooka's" which are large party beer tubes and a Mechanical Buckin' Bronco.
Most fun on the Penninsula!
My favorite hang-out!!
