Worst bar ever. A group of 8 of us went on a Saturday night and none of us will be back. The service was bad and then at 1:00 am they turned on the lights and rang the bell for "last call." Then at 1:15 am the bouncer got up on a chair and started yelling at all of us to get out. My friend had ordered a drink about 10 minutes before and had to down it since we were all being kicked out. I have never been to a bar in CA that closes so early and is so rude to its patrons. Our group bought about $80 in drinks in just thirty minutes. The worst part is my roommate and I were going to give them our business during football season, but now we are going to Rudy's Pub instead. All 8 of us are going to tell our friends and them their friends and on and on to not ever go to Old Pro!!!

Don't bother. Went there for lunch on a Friday and it wasn't crowded. Took 45 minutes to get our food, and when I did it was horrible. I still got charged even though it was so bad and we waited so long. People who came 30 minutes after us got their food just after we got ours. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. SERVICE SUCKED.

Wrong food + bad service = we get kicked out??. We had been looking forward to going to the reopening for MONTHS!!! On the first Sunday of football season we went. It took 45 minutes for them to bring my friends food, then they said they had lost the order. After another 20 minutes they brought the food - but the wrong food! We asked for the waitress to come over and never did after 20 minutes. So my friend went to talk to the manager and asked to changer her order entirely at this point. She was told "maybe this isn't the best place for you." So she went to get a bagel from another place around the corner. She brought it back and as she was eating it a new waitress came over and told her no outside food. My friend explained the situation and asked for the manager again. Instead, the waitress came back and said we needed to leave as per the manager. When we got out check the food we had order but was wrong was still on the check!

So they screw up our order, take over an hour, still don't get it right.....and we get kicked out???? The manager did not even have the guts to come over and say anything to us!

This isn't the first time we have received bad service there. I have sat there for 30 minutes before anyone even came over to get our drink order but I loved the atmosphere so I ignored it. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Closed for remodeling. There's a huge sheet of plywood across the front, making it hard to get a table. They talk about reopening in late 2006. Go to the other Old Pros in the mean time.

The NEW hot spot. I went here for dinner with a date for the first time, and it was great. Order the NY Steak, it came with 2 huge sides, I ended up taking the rest home. They have really great HD plasma TV's, but the downside was I couldn't keep my date's attention. The waitresses were quick with the drinks and sass, we will definitely be back.

Great food and cool atmosphere. Recently we had a "company outing" at the Old Pro. Let me just say "Great Place!" It's not your typical sports bar. Talk about variety and the most generous portions...the menu has dungeness crab...to ribs... to the best hamburger "sliders" ever! And for the health nut, the salad combinations are very creative . The place is very clean and overall has a relaxed "welcome back" feel. The waitresses were on top of "their game" here. We had at least 3 different girls offering help, clearing plates, and getting drinks. From what I hear in the local Palo Alto scene, everyone goes here. It's the kind of place you're happy to leave a great tip. Overall A++.

Awesome Sports Bar!!!. I love this bar... My girlfriends and I have been hanging out here since the new location opened. Great food, nice service, and lots of big screen TV's. What more could you ask for!!! There's also a patio to enjoy drinks and watch games on a nice night. Gotta love a crowd though- it does get a littly rowdy & out-of-control most weekends and big game days!!

This is the place to go. I would like to say, as a sports fan and good eater- what a great place to go! If you want to go where the atmosphere is great and the food is awesome- it's HERE. It is a really fun, casual place that everyone from kids (I send mine to the game room),dates, & guys just having a drink go to relax. The prices are pretty reasonable- get the NY steak. FYI- the girls are HOT- and they've never given me or my friends bad service.

Avoid it.... The service is TERRIBLE. Usually if a server gives me attitude I give him/her the benefit of the doubt and blow it off thinking that the server has had a bad day but at Old Pro, it seems like everyone has an attitude. The food takes a long time to be prepared and it's almost never consistant. I've been there four times and have ordered chicken wings and they taste different every time.
