Overpriced, stained & torn linens & shady people loitering.
I was very unhappy about my stay At the Vagabond Inn. It is overpriced for what you get. The towels, sheets, blanket & bedspread all had stains & were torn. The bedspread literally was falling apart at the seams. There was quite a bit of litter in the parking lot.
Speaking of parking lots, for the price I didn't expect to see the undesirable types of people loitering in the parking lot all night. They were drinking &
who knows what else. They were loud. It wasn't just a single group of people either.
I went to take a shower in the middle of the afternoon & there was no hot water! How many other people could have been using the hot water up- the parking lot was near empty of cars. The shower head was so crusted that the water flow was limited to a drizzle. The internet never worked & the
cable TV went in & out. Trying to figure out the remote was a chore in itself. There was no instructions for the remote, the phone & no tv channel guide in the room. Not the most important things, but if I'm paying mid priced, these are things I expect.
The service was dreadful. I was told nothing could be done about the lack of internet connection or cable reception. As for the characters in the parking
lot, I complained several times throughout the night & was told the following "I'll take care of it" "They've been told to keep it down" "They are paying guests & no one else is complaining" When I asked for the manager, I was told the manager wasn't available. The person I dealt with was quite rude & surly. He seemed to be annoyed & acted as if I was bothering him. He told me "What am I supposed to do about the bedspreads?"
I was so unhappy with the problems that I left before dawn & went to the motel next door called Bela Vista. It was quite a bit cheaper but with none of the problems.
