good place to hang out in palo alto

I like the location and selection of Coupa Cafe enough that I go there fairly regularly... but I'm still in search of the *perfect* coffeehouse in Palo Alto.

I like the food selection quite a bit, but it's a bit pricy for the portions.

No wifi on the weekends is a bummer... but I bring my wireless card to get around that.

Drinks are on the pricier side, too.

And, it's always SO crowded! But I guess that's because they have a pretty good place to hang, and everyone else recognizes it too :)

• Pros: good ambiance, pretty good food, drinks
• Cons: no wifi on weekend, super crowded, chairs aren't that comfy

Great place to work, relax, meet with friends

A friend introduced me to Coupa and I have to say I'm hooked. The ambiance is great, the hot chocolates, although pretty darn expensive, are yummy, and you never feel like you have to leave once you're done with your coffee. There's also free wireless, which makes this the perfect place to study, work, or meet with friends,

The biggest downfall is that the wireless only works during the week, so if you're looking for a place to escape to on the weekend to study, you'll be disappointed that this gem doesn't offer wireless then.

• Cons: very pricey, wireless doesn't work on weekends
