Unique Italian Pizza but at Euro Prices. Enjoyable Italian Style pizza (flat with homemade sauce) but that usually implies cheaper prices for the very reason why I don't patronize Pizza Hut, less cheese, dough and oil. But come on now, inflated wine and pizza prices don't dictate a good rating even though pizza itself is good.

real Italian style pizza. La pizzeria is one of my preferred places for pizza in the bay area. I'm Italian, and this is real Italian style pizza. Tasty, with thin crust and quality oil, mozzarella and tomato sauce. This is not cheap greasy stuff, you can actually taste the quality of what you are eating here. My preferred is the pizza napoli.

Best authentic Italian pizza in the Silicon Valley. Just go and try it for yourself, the pizza is blissful, the owner is always around for a talk, service is fast, the atmosphere is great. You won't be disappointed, especially if you are looking for some real Italian flavor.

Delicious authentic Italian pizza in a relaxed setting. People who frequent the chain pizza delivery restaurants may be in for a surprise when they first see and taste authentic Italian pizza. First, the crust is very thin, baked in wood-burning ovens. The oven at La Pizzeria was shipped here from Italy. Second, the sauce is not the thick, sweet, tomato-paste heavy sauce that many of the take-out places use. Next, authentic Italian pizzas have fewer toppings. Some of the more memorable pizzas at La Pizzeria include "Prosciutto e Rugola" (tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, prosciutto & Rugola salad) and "Parmigiana" (tomato sauce, eggplant, parmesan cheese & mozzarella cheese) . Finally, the pizza is brought to you straight from the oven, with a knife, and you cut it yourself. Many diners (myself included) like to bring a friend so that they can order two different pizzas to share. The atmosphere at La Pizzeria is relaxed and comforting, with an a rich wood interior and warm lighting. Service is excellent and prices are very competitive with the multitude of other restaurants lining Campbell Avenue. Visit once and you'll definitely return.

Ok but try something different. I went with two friends of mine of a Thursday night and the service was slow and inconsistent. The salad was good, but how hard is a salad. But the pizza really tasted bland, and cheap. Too greasy and the toppings just weren't that great. Now I am open that I had just a not good night there, but really you should try somewhere different. The atmosphere was kind of cute though.
