Too Salty and Bland.
I have been there a few times over the years and found the food to be just too salty and bland. I expected a little more of the same zip in the food as I got in NO. The sandwich came on a flavorless, mushy roll. I was surprised that they said they shipped the bread in special.
If they held back on the salt and added a little more spice, I think they would be on to something!
I go more for the drinks and the music at this point.

Pretty good N'awlins food.
Haven't had much experience with New Orleans cuisine but from the several times I've been here, it's been very good. The BBQ chicken sandwich is less saucy and more spicy, but don't worry because it's so big you can't eat the whole thing anyway. The combination dishes are great with items like jambalaya and beans and rice. Service is always quick, even on weekends where there's probably overflow from an event down the street at the Pavilion or when there's blues band playing. It does get crowded but the outdoor patio is a nice break since it's not on a usually busy street. Quaint former house turned resturant. Great handout, good food, excellent atmosphere.
