Like techno music? Annoying security guards? Waiting endlessly for drinks? Then this is the place for you!.
I went on a Saturday and I really wish I hadn't paid $15 to get in. The music was horrible, popular songs set to a weird techno fusion. The crowd was remarkably undiverse, for San Jose, and a little boring. The bar gets PACKED very quickly and it's really hard to get to the front to order a drink (assuming the muscley bartenders decide you are worthy of paying for a drink) and a lot of people hangout around the bar to take their shots and drinks which, if you're not attentive, can end up on you. The security guards at the door are extremely rude and obnoxious but they'll let you cut in line if you're a girl showing enough skin and if they find you attractive. Find another place to spend your time, money and effort. This place is definiely not worth the hassle.

Unhappy Employees Equal awful service and awful establishment.
Currently the place is name "Vivid". The venue is huge...and has a ton of potential. Here are the problems. The corporation that is running the place doesn't seem to understand that California Labor Laws exists for a reason that EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer) does still apply to them regardless of their personal opinions. With that being said. Currently I and a few others just finished an undercover investigation for Santa Clara University Law School on unethical Business Practices from Entertainment establishments and from what we have seen this has got to be the worst. We have three other establishments under the works but will discuss only the one at hand. We applied for jobs their and three of us landed varies positions there. Here is what we discovered... Paychecks are not given out in timely fashions. Overtime is not paid for over 8+ hrs of work. The owner "Jenny" refuses to hire women in certain positions, work conditions are extremely unsafe, hand hygiene and safety storage policies do not seem to apply here. We are doing our final draft of our submission of this particular project and thankfully because of what we have discovered many others in that community are taking interest in what he have discovered in this place as well as other nightlife areas in San Jose and the San Jose Mercury News will be releasing an article on our investigation. Also, three local news channels have shown interest and conducted interviews with us on what we have found. Stay turned and please don't support anything that goes against what Californians have established to be fair and justified for its community.

Not Recommended>>Try the Vault or go to Ruby Sky in SF!.
This bar was renamed after many problems involving law enforcement. The proprietor is a former stripper and has no clue how to treat people or run a club. Really sleazy this last year and seems to attract your hoods and believe it or not, transvestites?

Not That Great.
Wasn't too impressed with this club. Bouncer told one guy more than once that he couldn't go in wearing rubber shoes. Later on inside the club, who did I see but that guy, wearing the rubber shoes. Haha....
