Not usually a blogger but this place deserves the exception. Was visiting friends when we decided to check to see if we could make hair and spa appointments. Wow!! What a wonderfully uplifting experience. I'm an ex-natural blonde(gone wrong) and have been struggling for years to get back to my early 20's look and color. ha! Well, I found my fountain of youth in Jennifer, the owner. I showed her a picture of what my hair was like 20 years ago and asked her to duplicate it as closely as possible. Voila!! she made the miracle happen!! My hair now has the same blonde depth of color tones that made me thrilled all those years ago. I don't how she did it but she is my own personal fountain of youth. The extra bonus in this success story was the elegant style of the salon, the friendly staff and the wonderful choice of options to pamper oneself. So....if you are feeling the need of renewal, re-charging or re-vamping or whatever it is that makes you feel special, get yourself to Strada Salon and Day Spa in Willow Glen and make it happen. Thank you, Jennifer, for the new bounce in my step. I'll be seeing you soon.....
Avoid Avoid Avoid!!! Horrible, amateur, unprofessional. Go someplace else!
Great Salon! – charming salon with a terrific group of talented stylists. Everyone is super accommodating. It has a great atmosphere and is reasonably priced. Eva is outstanding with color and cuts. Book early because you cant walk in!!
men will feel at home here – I went to Strada because of the reviews I read on Google. Now I know why they are so hightly rated! Sheryl gave me the best massage I've ever had(deep tissue) and I've had plenty in my life. The haircut was great as well as the ambience. I will definitely be going back!
My new fav place! – I was a little afraid to go to a new place after having gone to the same stylist for 15 years. I just moved to Willow Glen and decided to stop at this cute little Day Spa. Little did I know how big it was inside and how warm and inviting this gem turned out to be. I had Jennifer the owner do my color and cut. She game me highlights and low lights that were perfect for my skin. While I was there I decided to try some of their other services. I got my nails and toes done and made another appointment with Audra for Endermolgy treatments. I had been doing this in Dallas and never expected to find it here. I can't tell you how wonderful this place is! Being new to the neighborhood, they even gave me recommendations of other places to go in Willow Glen. I am off to La Villa now. I heard they have the best deli in town. Wish me luck.
Awful "salon" – I had an appointment with the lead hairdresser. I was quickly rushed through my color being put in my hair, with minimal product. Jen didn't listen to what I wanted at all. She did her own thing and it came out horrible. I have never seen such bad highlights since I went to beginning stylists fresh out of school. They were poorly space (the whole nine of them) and some where near my roots, others inches away) Their fix to complaint, to of course get more services- $$$! I have never been so dissatisfied in a place. I went elsewhere and got exactly what I wanted and I was the blond I wanted to be. They by the way charged $90 for actual highlights that amounted to more than just a few. By the way the eyebrow stylists also isn't good. I ignore other yelp reviews hoping it was just someone else, but I should of listened. Bring your money elsewhere or you will get a botch job and the receptionist will tell you how good it is and the salon will do nothing to fix it.
Eileen is AWESOME – Eileen is my favorite. I've been going to her for over 5 years now and I love the way she waxes. She is always very interested in what I'm saying and legitimately cares about what goes on in my life. I have never had a burn or redness after visiting her, and I have very light skin. Awesome woman-- check her out!
Very Dissapointed – I was very dissappointed to find that Carolann Espino is no longer affiliated with Strada Dayspa. She was one of the best in the business. The best esthetician, massage therapist and Reiki Practitioner. Too bad for Strada.
GREAT FACIAL AND MASSAGE – I have experienced TRUE RELAXATION. After an extremely taxing week, I decided to visit the salon and purchased a package which included a facial and massage with services provided by Kerry Hamilton. The facial and massage were fabulous. Kerry’s touch is gentle and soothing, yet firm and effective. Her gracious and gentle nature could make any customer feel at ease. I highly recommend a visit to both the salon and Kerry for anyone interested in feeling refreshed and revitalized.
Great Facial – I went to Eileen at Strada Spa for a Microdermabrasion Facial and it was awesome! I was looking for a more
aggressive facial for my aging skin and was very happy with the results and the service!!! She made me feel very taken care of and explained to me vey thoroughly the whole process and how to take care of my skin!!!
Go see Eileen she rocks!!
