Merchant Circle Scam. I spent 3 years on MerchantCircle as a Member, Moderator, and Community Leader. (Unpaid customer service rep) I dealt with merchants on a DAILY basis that MerchantCircle was either ripping off or trying to rip off with their bogus paid products, and lack of customer support. I would stay away from ANY paid product MerchantCircle offers, including Directory Submission, Paid Leads, any of their get found on Google campaigns (SEM packages) Verified badge, Local Sponsor, As someone who has used all of these products I can tell you not only are these products a RIPOFF, but when you have questions or concerns pertaining to them Good Luck MerchantCircles customer service is ALMOST NON existent. What a JOKE. I received an email invitation from Robyn Hannah MerchantCircle community manager, asking me to give a review of MerchantCircle. Ok, if that's what she wants, that's what she'll get. I see some MerchantCircle community leaders have already posted here per her email. I have been with MerchantCircle for 3 years. I know the people at MerchantCircle. I have met them personally. I have been to Headquarters in Mountain View. I have seen their operation. In all honesty MerchantCircle has some good points, and some bad points. Sometimes the BAD outweighs the good. For me, this is the case. If you enjoy being attacked in the forums, watching other SR Community Leaders being attacked, and being continually harassed then MerchantCircle is for you. They hand out Community Leader badges like candy. The only qualification to be a community Leader is the ability to breathe. Out of the 50 or so community Leaders MAYBE 4 or 5 actually do anything for the MC community. The rest just try to collect the benefits without working for them. Some recent Community Leaders Mike Neylan, Schaon Blodgett, and Rod Rotzien are prime examples of who not to nominate as CL's They came to my listing and harassed me in my talk to me, so I shut it off. They left me harassing private messages, so I deleted them from my connections, and last but not least Mike Neylan left me a very provoking review. I had to tolerate MerchantCircle Community Manager Robyn Hannah with her lies, deceptions, and false accusations, while making excuses for other Community Leaders, BLATANT terms of service violations. If you use MerchantCircle my advice to you is USE them for all they're worth, BUT don't use ANY of the paid products. Businesses at MerchantCircle can and will remove any negative comments or reviews at this website. This is very unfair to the consumer who is not able to read the negative reviews that the businesses
do not what consumers to read. Try writing a negative review at their website: merchantcircle, it will be eliminated within days by the business it was written about. Try to call their 800 number from their website: merchantcircle. 800-305-9203. It always says this business is temporary closed or want to charge you $34.95 to talk to them. Consumers need to stand up to these so call consumer advocate websites otherwise we the consumer will get taken and scammed into thinking these businesses have only wonderful reviews and do business with them. Stay away from MerchantCircle.
