The recipient of two Michelin stars, and commonly called one of the top 50 restaurants in the country, Manresa uses produce from its own biodynamic garden in innovative flavor combinations and cutting. The wood beams, oriental carpets and fireplace and warm colors of Manresa's dining room evoke a sense of rustic elegance, as does the garden surrounding the outdoor patio, but the real attraction here is the kitchen. Diners from all over the world--including the uppermost echelons of Silicon Valley--flock to Manresa for Chef David Finch's French-Catalan, four-hour, 14-course tasting menus, which feature biodynamic fruits and vegetables from Manresa's private garden, plus top-notch meat and fish, often cooked in jarring-but-pleasing flavor combinations and served in unfamiliar forms and textures.
