By far - best & most sustainable weight loss program.
Well, I'm a slow loser - I like to cheat my way through the program by doing the bare minimum - but nothing gets pass Holly (my most lovely nutritionist) and Dr. Rugh (who always give the necessary budge).
It hasn't been easy but I've 10+ lbs in 2 months, and gone from size 6 (153 lbs) to size 4 (140lbs). I'm hoping to lose another 10 lbs (130 lbs), so Holly, please do give me a big push ;)
The most valuable thing I've gained from this program is a sustainable lifestyle change - more lean, healthy protein and less sugar. I like the fact that they help me review my eating habit methodically to get a better handle of serious sugar cravings.
Bikini Here I Come!. Over the past six years, I slowly gained weight accumulating an additional 30-40 lbs that had not been there before. I thought I was eating healthy-always reading articles and listening to the morning shows constant suggestions. I also regularly worked out. This "Do it myself" method stopped my from gaining more weight but did not help me those any weight...And then along came Greenlite. My friend works at Greenlite and thought that it might be a good fit. So right during the prime time of indulgence... (the week before Christmas) I decided to start. As of 2/8 I have lost 16 lbs....half way to my goal and the weight of 2 of the bowling balls I prefer to use. Not only is the program educational---Seriously our portions are out of control--but also the weekly visits really keep hold me accountable. The staff are so friendly and encouraging and make it even more fun to succeed. The cost is extremely reasonable- Getting healthy now just saved me years of other health bills and hazards. Definitely Do It!!
Greenlite Medicine Works!!!.
Greenlite has been an amazing experience for me. Since giving birth to my 2nd child in 2008, I struggled to lose weight, tried Weight Watchers which didn't work for me, and then in June 2011 I was frustrated at being 196lbs, when my pre-pregnancy weight was 135.
I started the program in the beginning of July 2011 at 196lbs, and the plan was perfect for me. By November I was down to 154lbs. I stuck to the program which is strict, high protein, low carbs, but it was perfect for me since I prefer structure around food and don't require much variety.
The educator I saw was Holly in the Mountain View office and she is the best! She really listen's and empathizes and provides options when you hit a wall.
I am now on the maintenance program but will continue to go back every 4 weeks to insure I'm on track, but Holly and the program have provided me the education to continue losing and maintaing and the confidence to keep the weight off.
