In Short
Located in the heart of Silicon Valley, this 132,000-square-foot museum focuses not only on science but also on its application. The bright, orange museum houses themed galleries focused on the "hands-on." For example, in the Exploration exhibit, visitors can calculate their weight on different planets or experience a simulated earthquake on a shake platform; and the Innovation exhibit encourages guests to explore new inventions. The museum also houses a large IMAX theatre featuring educational films.
