Delicious Food, Nice Ambience, Reasonable Prices.
This is the first Indian restaurant in Milpitas which is not a hole in the wall. It has a nice ambience and seating area to dine in. Finally some place you can go to for a special occasion.
I got the food catered from here for Diwali. When I spoke to the chef, Sanjay Patel, he was very straightforward, told me exactly how much quantity I needed and was open to what I wanted. I liked how he was not pushy and wasn't trying to 'con' me into getting what I didn't need.
I ordered 3 main dishes, Chana Masala, Malai Kofta and Veg Shashlik in Coco Curry. The Malai Kofta was just phenomenal and all my guests loved it. I also got some delicious Gajar Halwa which was great too. I ordered the halwa on the morning of the event and eventhough it was Diwali and busy for them, they agreed to make it for us.
I ordered for 15 people and with 40 peices of Naan it cost me only 150 $.
All in all, great food and great value for money (Unlike Junoon and Mantra which are great, but overpriced). I am totally sold on this place!!
