Incredibly delicious curries!. If you're looking for the best curries in town, head over to your new favorite "hole in the wall" - SAI Market.

It's a little low on ambiance, it's a market, where you can buy vegetables, spices, chutney, and prepared foods, and there isn't a way to hide it really, but there's no need. You can buy the curries to take home! (Or you can eat there too...) I love Indian food, and have driven all over the Peninsula to try the latest, greatest Indian restaurants, but have found true love at SAI Market. They don't have a full menu all the time. She cooks several dishes a day and they vary somewhat daily. You can alway count on chana, spinach with lentils, and a chicken curry, but they do pakora, samosa, dhosa, idli, and an endless number of curries rotate in. My favorite, other than the chana, which I get every time, is the plantain curry, and the sweet potato, which is not a traditional dish but is so delicious that I dream about it... YUM!
