BEST BURGER. I have been going to Clarke's burger since I lived in Mountain View in the 70's. It is and I hope it will continue to be one of the BEST places to get a great hamburger. I now live down in San Diego On one of my trips up to Sacramento I stopped in San Jose to see some friends, and made sure I stopped at Clarkes on my way out of town. I wiould like to have one down here.

Classic burgers!. Huge, meaty burgers are the norm here. Check out their condiment bar! Add a malt & fries,...

lousy. Very greasy hamburgers and there ribs were below par for taste and amount and very expensive for what you get

The Best Burger next to mine!. Big, juicy, char broiled...blue cheese, jalapeños...simply the best! (They have malts and onion rings too!) Seating inside and out.

Overpriced, over-rated.... Burgers are good, but for $6.50 from a fast food joint?? If you get fries and a shake, you've just plunked down $12. NOT worth it.

The fries really are nasty. WELL below standard. The shakes are good, but there are so many places that are better.

By the way, the burger meat does have a bit of a barbecue sauce flavor, so stay away if that might bug you.
