Bad Policy/Poor Service.
I have just had the worst experience in WA MU (los altos downtown).
I went in to cash a check that was written to me on a WA MU account as I have been doing for 2 years. + -
I was told that WA MU has a "New Policy" and that they would not cash my check. When I asked them why they informed me that they had to call (on the phone) the person who wrote the check. Needless to say they could not reach her. This caused much frustration and hardship.
WA MU finally did reach her via phone, and finally cashed my check.
The tellers were not even friendly. In fact they walked away from me.
Who needs the stress? There are plenty of other banks out there.
I will never bank at WU MA. There are other banks that have way more customer friendly policies.
