Simple and yummy, at reasonable prices.
I adore the friendly atmosphere and simple, delicious fare here. The bubbly proprietress knows all the regulars (and not-so-regulars) by name and remembers their usual orders. The large menu offers everything from French toast to great sandwiches - my favorite is the Philly cheesesteak. The prices are totally reasonable for the substantial portions.
The decor is outdated, it's cash-only, and there's nothing fancy about the place at all. But sometimes you want just good American food with no fuss or marketing. It's great for kids, singles, families, etc.

The Best. The Coffee Shop is one of the most wonderful places to go for a tast of breakfast the way it use to be. It has been here forever and is wonderful. Usually you don't have to wait and the price for the amount of food is great for the area it is in.

Slow but good!. The food is excellent and it's a great place to meet up with friends. The service is a little slow but what can you expect from a cute little town like Los Altos?
