In Short – This casual, cozy restaurant has warmth and plain white table linens, pretty copper salt and pepper shakers, and art by local artists. Creamy polenta with tomatoes and fresh basil provides a nice textural contrast to the simple grilled artichokes. Double-thick boneless pork chop is heavenly under a blanket of crispy fried onions. As one might expect, the lunch menu is more salad oriented (try a kicky Caesar). Desserts are made in house and the wine list is fairly priced. – –

BE QUIET!!!!!!

We have been here twice - both times the food has been incredible and the service good. BUT the noise! It has an open kitchen, which is loud enough but the music is always on too loud. I was probably the youngest in the restaurant that night and I asked for it to be turned down. We were screaming across the table at each other. The waitress obliged but added "but the chef will turn it up if he can't hear it". He did! I would not go there if you want to talk to anyone.
