Best Sushi in Town!!!.
I love the freshness of Satsuma's fishes/seafood and the bentos are also yummy!
The place is always busy or busier compared to other sushi places, but I usually try to go either little earlier or later and avoid the peak lunch and dinner time. I figure especially the sushi places have to be busy in order to serve the freshest seafood and this place is one of the busiest in the SF Bay Area.
Enjoy!

Mediocore food & bad service.
Seated promptly, yet it took about 15 minutes to get any service... no water, tea, or "sorry for the wait, someone will be with you in a moment"... completely ignored. The place was quite busy and maybe we caught them on a bad night; yet that is no excuse for getting no acknoledgment from the staff IMHO. I believe I overheard the people behind me also complaining; I think they left. Also overheard people complaining that were waiting for their take-out.
My personal opinion is that it is hard to find good, authentic Japanese in the Bay area. With that in mind, the food was average.

Good Eats POOR Service.
The Ambience was nice, standard booths, bar and traditional Japanese style seating. Looking around there was a lot of people with sushi and bento boxes. Menu was full of great rolls, however many of them had the same thing just prepared differently. We order the Caliente Crunch and Golden Finger ($10 a piece). Healthy size portions, fresh fish, but I would have done w/o the mayo sauce. The Caliente Crunch was the better of the two. After 25-30min had passed, we still did not have our 2 roll order. We noticed that our food was sitting on the bar. After waiting another 5-7 min, I made eye contact with the chef, looking like "where's our food?" Our waitress seemed to be MIA and there was no service. Finally, after the 5th ring from the chef, we were served by a different waitress.
