RETALIATION & 25% INCREASE IN RENT IN 15 MONTHS.
We moved in 15 months ago at a rate of $1575. After the first 9 month lease, our rent went up 10%, but we only signed a 6 month lease, so they increased it even more... Of course 6 months later, once again they raised the rent 10%, we chose to go month to month at $2050!!!!!, and 2 days later WE GET A LETTER TO VACATE WITHIN 60 DAYS!!!
This is retaliation for complaints concerning the 60+ immigrant workers that have been completing renovations on the premises. 50 hours a week of hammering, metal saws, multiple gas generators, wood saws, and YELLING FROM ONE END OF THE APARTMENT COMPLEX TO THE OTHER BECAUSE THE CONTRACTOR IS TOO CHEAP TO USE RADIOS. 50% of the premises has been taken up by the containers and renovation equipment used by the contractor. There is NO RENT CONTROL in Mountain View and THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE of it. Further more DON'T COMPLAIN OR THEY WILL BOOT YOU LEGALLY AT THE END OF YOUR LEASE.
