Great Food. Tacos are Great, Burritos are off the hook! Great Prices, Friendly People, this is the spot in downtown Mt View.

Best authentic taqueria in the area!!!. HUGE quesadillas and burritos... for just a few bucks! And the service is prompt and friendly. Beware, this place tends to attract quite a crowd, but that's just a testament to how wonderful it is.

This IS a real tacquera. Accept no others..
I don't like to give out "5"s (just as I don't like to give out "1"s), as i feel that its few and far between that restaurants TRULY deserve these high or low marks.
But in this case, Taqueria Los Charros is fabulous and highly worthly of "5". I go every week (if not every other week) and am still amazed at the quality output.
This IS a real tacquera. Accept no others.

Great!. Fresh squeezed OJ before your eyes! An on-site owner, dinners and burritos to die for! A great neighborhood places that one can so rarely find. A few sidewalk tables and an authentic interior. If you have a group that wants to enjoy a lively dinner this place works! If you want a quiet meal over a newspaper you can do that too! When street festivals come to Castro Street, this is a peaceful haven for wonderful meals when you get tired of over-priced "fair fare" and crowds! The first time I walked in, the owner greeted me like an "old friend" and the rest of the small staff is equally friendly! Now, if they'd only get rid of canned sodas in favor of fountain drinks they'd have it all! Go once and you *will* return! Ask anyone in town and they know the place!

Once a week must for us!. This has got to be our favorite place in the whole of Mountain View. We go there at least once a week either for dinner or breakfast. I've also gone during lunch time on occasion. My 2 yr old loves the food here and so do my husband and I. The Mexican fare is delicious and so affordable. The American breakfast is also reasonable, but my favorite is the huevos con chorizo for breakfast, lunch or dinner. My other favorite is the fajita dinner plate. Our meal generally is under $20 for us 2 adults and that includes a soft drink. SO affordable you can go all the time.
