hidden gem!

you would never think it, but step back into this mexican grocery store and you'll find a heck of a gem. a full-fledged burrito counter serves some of the best mexican in town! i was referred to this place by a friend and honestly it was one of the best burritos i've ever had in my life! not to mention the portions are HUGE. on your way out, grab some mexican groceries. =)

The best burrito shop!

As the first reviewer said, this place has the most choices of tortilla and fillings I've seen, plus you get to pick your choices from the hot trays as you walk along the counter and point at what you want. I've never seen another burrito place where you can see them make your burrito as you pick your choices. They also have the usual other choices, like tacos. I went there regularly for years before I moved away. Very unique! They also have a similar operation less than 1/2 mile away in the shopping center at the corner of Middlefield and Rengstorff that has the same menu and prices, but much better parking.

This place makes the BEST burritos this side of the border. The many meat selections (Chile Colorado is my favorite) along with the tons of extras to choose from and top it with the variety of salsas. Since it is a burrito shop in the back of a grocery store, there is no ambiance but the food definately makes up for it (just look at the lunchtime line!!!)
