Addicted to their Chinese Chicken Salad. I have been going to Tao Tao for almost 30 years. I now live 100 miles north of Tao Tao but still try to come down south just for the best Chinese Chicken Salad in the world (the cilantro, crushed peanuts and crispy noodles are the main secrets!)

This place was horrible. So the bathrooms are nice, but this place sucked. The service was horrible and they forgot part of our order and then the food came out cold. Why is it so hard to provide good service. Most bland chinese food I have had in a long time.

Wont go back.

Love this Restaurant & Food. I have been eating in this restaurant for years. Food is great. Especially their Chicken Salad and TaoTao Beef. I would recommend to anyone for a good Chinese food eating experience.

most amazing chinese food on earth. I grew up on sweet and sour pork and fried rice...rehearsal dinners, graduations, birthdays and anniversaries have been held there since before I can remember. I moved away from the bay area 6 years ago and I have honestly had cravings so bad for their food that I have driven the 400 miles with my friends just for some tao tao beef. I have been to china, I have been to more chinese food places on the central coast just hoping one place would measure up and I can say with all honesty that there is nothing like tao tao in the world... all I know is that i will die if they ever close their doors...tao tao is part of my soul!

Tao Tao Beef, Chicken Salad, and Mai Tai's. The title says it all. I don't know much about the rest of the dishes, but they do know how to make a Mai Tai. Sure, it has too much liquor in it, but that is the beauty. A couple of those guys and all you 'pick eaters' won't know the difference. Not that you need to be drunk to enjoy the amazing Tao Tao Beef. Don't know what it is, but it is just plain delicious.

Never disappointed!. A faithful customer for 10+ yrs. Every chance we get we introduce friends and family, with no regrets. You'll see many repeat customers. On occasion staff members come up to our kids and often have a small chat. Thery're very accomodating in last minute party situations. No need for advertisment! They are always busy with a full house. A few people may not agree but they're just used to average food and dont know good quality when it hits their mouth. Won Ton soup great flavor. Chicken is all white meat.

Response to 4/02/2002. It's almost one year later, and this experience still bothers me. Clearly, you must work at the restaurant. My family and I didn't expect ANY special treatment -- we were expecting ordinary, professional service. Maybe the waiter was having a bad day and took it out on us, but the menu we received was in English only. -- Gina in Sunnyvale

beats them all!. I grew up eating Tao Tao beef and simply love it. The newly remodeled restaurant provides a wonderful dining experience and excellent service. I've never, ever been disappointed.
