Tips for Thai Basil

Easy convenient Thai food. I go here for lunch often. I personally like the flat noodles. They used to have more vegetables in it, but now it seems like broccoli is the main vegetable. But still, the flavor is great. (Maybe a little too much garlic for a lunch, when you have a meeting in the afternoon). The green curry is quite good, too.

Now they moved to the Murphy location, it is a lot smaller, so they make you wait longer.

Good creative Thai dishes. I would definitely return to Thai Basil. The pineapple fried rice was delicious and came in a portion size which I think most would consider large to very large, depending on one's appetite. We also had the duck in the red curry sauce, which was good. The duck was tender; the vegetables in that dish were a bit scant but overall my experience here was positive.

Nice Thai Place. Pretty nice place to eat, I recemond eat at their Town and Country location. Its bigger, more nicer. I like their Red and Yellow Curries, Padthai is good also. Their Salmon Currie is the best, but its gets pricey. I recemond Tiger Chicken Roast also, it takes a little time but its nice.

Consistently Delicious. I have yet to order something here that I did not like. I've been coming to this restaurant for 4 years and have only found a couple other Thai restaurants in the South Bay that compares to the food here. This place has the best Basil Chicken Ive tasted. The service is friendly and timely. My only complaint is that I wish they were open more often (every time I come here during the weekend they are closed).

Small was beautiful. I went to the larger location for this restaurant, since I had a good experience at the smaller one (except the small part of it). I was dissapointed at the rather insipid fare. It took them almost 10 minutes to acknowledge our group's presence (although we were 10 in number and had reserved a table). The green curry seemed watery and the ingredients half-cooked. The meat dishes reminded one of a treasure hunt. One of our orders was mixed up, and the waitress "volunteered" to fix it.

Great!. This place is tiny--maybe a dozen tables in an historic storefront-- A trip back in time (but a bigger location a block away!) Simply the best Thai food you can find! Fresh and carefully prepared. Consistantly delicious! Attentive service. Meals that will impress your guests. Immaculate rest rooms with fresh flowers! And the friendliness that the Thai people are so famous for!

Good food!. I loved the food here. I haven't found many good Thai restaurants in the Bay Area, but this one was good and very flavorful.

Delicious!. I will start off this review with a warning about MSG. If you are allergic, tell the kitchen you want them to hold off on the MSG. Otherwise, the food is well flavored and well priced. The restaurant, however, is a bit small. My date and I felt scrunched. They have great lunch specials. I would recommend getting almost anything with their special sauce.
