Excellent food and atmosphere. Country Gourmet is what I used to wish the Good Earth was (but it never was). Simple, good, not too greasy food in a really nice atmosphere. It's kind of strange that you order before you sit down, but the restaurant acknowledges that, and even suggests (on a little card) that if we tip, we don't tip as we would for a full service restaurant. It suggests 5 to 7%. In any case, I could get used to a little quirkiness, I think, because the food is so good, and the ambience is so nice and relaxing.…
Blatant fake reviews. Come on. If you're going to work for a restaurant and post fake reviews, at least pretend to be subtle about it. Three glowing reviews, all on the same date, and the only other reviews by these posters (also on the same date) dis a competitor. Please.…
Where everyone knows your name.... Country Gourmet is not only a restaurant with a great staff, but when you are greeted with smiling faces, and people who remember your name, you also receive great food. I have frequented this restaurant for almost 10 years now, and will not stop until the doors are closed. If you haven't tried one of the omlets or HUGE salads, orange french toast, or any of the specials, you are missing out on great food from a great place.…
