Katana is my favorite bay area sushi spot!. My wife and I started going to Katana a couple of years ago when first exploring our local pool of restaurants after moving into the bay area. Always hungry for new adventures we've been to many other sushi joints since, but the quality of food, great portions and welcoming atmosphere put Katana head and shoulders above the rest. I am a huge fan and always leave the place satisfied.

If you like spicy food, make sure you try the pepper bomb!

MY FAMILY LOVE THIS PLACE. THIS PLACE IS FANTASTIC THE FOOD IS FRESH CLEAN AND DELICIOUS. THE PORTION IS PERFECT. WE GO HERE A LOT PLUS THE PRICE IS GREAT, VERY AUTHENTIC REAL JAPANESE EXPERIENCE. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. SOMEONE TOLD MY HUSBAND AND I TO GO TO CHOCOLATE FACTORY WELL WHAT CAN I SAY ITS NOT KATANA LETS LEAVE IT AT THAT....THIS PLACE IS SO GOOD WE WAIT FOR THEM TO OPEN SOMETIMES THERE HOURS ARE WEIRD BUT IT WORTH THE WAIT.......LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Great sushi -- yummy and inviting. This is the best sushi I've found in the area. The sushi is always fresh, the staff is friendly, the portions generous and the food delicious. It's a great place to go with friends or on a date. The atmosphere is inviting and I like the decor. The bento boxes are a great deal. There's so many choices to pick from and there's something for everybody.

Great Sushi for the $. I've tried numerous sushi restaurants in Silicon Valley but always come back to Katana for the quality, affordable prices, friendliness, and great taste. Their Sushi, nigiri, and sashimi always amazes me. They are so friendly, we are regulars now, and often get appetizers and dessert on the house! The Susho Chef's are great, sometimes timid they liven up to conversation fast :)
