worst service in years. I can't actually remember a time when I've been treated worse, but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume that I have been, but it was years ago so I don't remember. From the moment my 3 friends and I walked in, to the moment we left after they wouldn't give us change because they didn't "have any 10s," we were neglected and insulted. They took forever taking our orders, which took about 40 minutes to come (it's not a gourmet restaurant and it wasn't that crowded), they did not bring us the usual complimentary appetizers, the nan and rice came quite a while after our food, and we practically had to beg them for the check. Then they refused to make change for us. Granted, I've always enjoyed their takeout, always en masse, so I was shocked. I can safely say I will only go back if forced or tricked by friends. The food was fine, but nothing special, and they skimp on the rice. I'm sure it's better when the buffet is offered.

Darbar Indian cuisine. Wow! This is the best Indian restaurant in the Bay Area. I went there last night with my two friends. The food was fantastic. We started with the appetizers-Chicken Tikka and Mixed Bhajias DELICIOUS. Then we ordered Paneer Do Piayza, Butter chicken, Lamb Saag for the main meal which was served along with Pilau rice, Nan, Dal and Raita. Everything was very delicious. I want to try their Lunch Buffet .

The prices are reasonable and staff is very attentive. The restaurant is very clean. I can't wait to go there again.

Whoever likes Indian food must try this one!

THE BEST. Darbar has the best indian food I have ever had in my life. The buffet is excellent and only $10, I think... SUCH A DEAL. Go hungry and leave fat and happy. I don't know how much ghee they put in the rice but it is the best rice I have ever had. The sag paneer is also delicious delicious and the garlic naan is so good it will make you cry.
