Burger joint scores big with thick shakes and classic diner fare.. In Short
Taxicab memorabilia and individual jukeboxes at each table give this lively chain a diner vibe, but exposed brick, a long line of shiny taps and TVs screening sports evoke a college sports bar. The kitchen churns out American favorites like burgers, hand-spun ice cream shakes, garlic fries and more, all made to order. Healthier options include chicken sandwiches and salads.

A great burger, good shoestring fries. These are not fast food hamburgers, but served in a fast food setting. I guess diner is a more appropriate description and should explain everything. A step above fast food, but not a respectable sit down. The food has good flavor, the right texture and good compliments such as bun and toppings. If I have the time and want a "real" hamburger I'll go to Taxis. If I want to eat in the car, I'll go to Mc D's. The fries I think may be the best shoestrings in the area.

Quick. Best burger? Hardly. Taxi's is reasonable and quick. A step up from the chains, and two steps down from the likes of the Peninsula Creamery.

Great for Families. I took my husband the two children to Taxi's for dinner and had an excellent experience, would definitely return. The food was good, service was fast (a plus with children), the beer was cold (a plus for adults) and the restaurant was clean. One of the best burgers around!

Taxi!. I have mixed feelings about Taxi's: the taste was not thrilling and a bit disappointing but afterwards I feel satisfied and calm because the patty portion was huge. The burger was cold and I was poring on the ketchup and heaving on the salt and pepper. I'll have to try another of their hamburgers but for now I would give it an average rating. A six dollar burger restaurant should pack more flavor than a fast burger chain. I ordered the Pastrami with Swiss cheese.

Best I've ever had. Taxi's blew me away! What a terrific concept for a hamburger place. The variety of the menu was great because my family likes different things. From the salads and burgers, to the grilled chicken breast sandwiches and fries, every bite was a unanimous winner for all of us!!! One more thing, don't leave without trying their milkshakes; a mind numbing treat!!! We have found a new family friendly place to enjoy a casual meal out without sacrificing quality. Great service too!!

Good burger joint!. Food was quick and good. Average on the greasiness level, and all ingredients were fresh and tasty. Good for a quick bite. If you want to sit down in a better environment though; I'd head down the street to Peninsula creamery.
