In Short
Airy, industrial decor lends a lighter, more urban feel to Gordon Biersch than most beer halls. The bar may get crowded after 5pm, when a happy-hour crowd hoists a few pints of seasonal Bavarian-influenced beers. A menu of fusion and New American dishes include beer-friendly offerings like shrimp and chicken pot stickers, Moroccan-spiced lamb chops and the signature garlic french fries.

Beef. And Beer. That's what Gordon Biersch is all about. I loved going here, and when I lived a block away, it was so very tempting, all the time. The high price tag of quality, fortunately, prevented me from gorging myself regularly on succulent steaks and premium Gordon Biersch beers (not sure if they brewed the beer right there or not, but it was always good). Parking's a bit of a hassle (unless you're lucky enough to live next door ;) but there's usually plenty of parking under City Hall, two blocks away (on Ramona), and you can usually use a walk after stuffing yourself here. It's also not a bad distance from the CalTrain station (about four blocks). It's a great place to eat, and it's really good, so be prepared for a bit of a wait -- but be prepared to think it was all worth it! PROS: Awesome steak, beers CONS: Not cheap

GB is a good place to go to after work for a beer & bite to eat. The ambience is nice though it is a loud and you wll have to yell to be heard. The beer there is good and the food there is also good and they have good portion sizes.. GB has a wide selection of beers to choose fom and a good variety of bar foods. A pint of beer will run you around $6 and appitizers and salads are between $5-9, burgers around $7-10, and entrees around $12-17. Overall I would say it's a good place to stop by and grab a beer and bite to eat, but nothing special to write home about.

GB's in Pasadena CA has great atmosphere and most of all a "GREAT" selection of their micro brews, comparable to some of Europe's best. The food menu also has a variety of items to choose from, make sure and order the garlic fries for an appetizer or when your just hanging out enjoying their great tasting beer.
