Best shoe repair in the Bay. Brought my favorite shoes in and they did an amazing job fixing them. The customer service was fantastic the girl had my done repair at the counter when she saw me come in. Not to mention there amazing wall of socks.

good shoe selection, poor customer service. They have nice looking shoes, prices are average although more on the expensive side and they dont have any good sales. Customer service is poor and discriminatory, they dont treat all customers the same. In addition they usually only have one person working the floor and the register what makes the wait for a pair a shoes longer than what it should be. The place is very small and there is not much setting place to try shoes on. Will not fully recommend this place, department stores have a better selections, service and prices.

Overpriced, poor workmanship, and bad customer service. I have been a repeat cobblery customer here for the past 7 years but will not return in the future. The bottom line is that they overcharge and don't stand behind their workmanship. Although the repair prices have been increasing disproportionately in the past few years, I was still willing to pay more than the competition for what I believed was quality. In the past, I have repaired mostly heels on pumps with occasional boot repairs. The heels didn't last forever, but I always attributed it to my extensive walking. Recently, however, I had a negative experience in which the heels on a pair of pumps that I had repaired (rubber heel replacement plus re-gluing the wooden coating on the heel for $22) feel apart after two wearings. I just returned from the shop in which I was told I would have to pay $30 for the heels that I had only worn twice to be repaired again. I am left with the feeling that they don't stand behind their workmanship and are not concerned with customer service. I will not return in the future, and I would not recommend the cobbler to anyone who walks a lot and values customer service, reasonable prices, and most importantly, quality in workmanship.
