Best small, hidden sushi place I know of in this area. They offer a decent list of sushi rolls with a good variety - my favorite is the Raging Spicy Tuna. Best Spicy Tuna roll I have ever had. Service could definitly be better (sometimes slow but they are never rude) but whatever small flaws they have is made up for with the quality of the food. Everything is very reasonably priced too - including the sake.

Pros: food quality, friendliness, price

Cons: sometimes slow service

but prepared to wait a LONG TIME. having said this, the wait is worth it. i took my dad, who was born and raised in tokyo, here and he really liked it. need i say more?

Pros: excellent, authentic tasting japanese food

Cons: the wait.

Sushi Zono is a small, inexpensive, neighborhood sushi restaurant, don't expect a fine dining type of experience. Sushi Zono has the standard sushi restaurant fare (nothing special on the menu) but the staff are very friendly. Unfortunately, I didn't think the fish was as fresh as it could have been (i.e. compared to some other sushi restaurants in the area) and fried items like tempura were horrible as you could really taste that the oil isn't changed enough.

Pros: very friendly staff

Cons: below-average sushi, horrible tempura

I first stumbled upon Sushi Zono by accident !3 years ago much to my good fortune. The sushi has always been fresh, and the service fresher!!!!!!! It wasn't as hard to get a seat at the bar back then, but any wait is well worth the trip. Ask Haru about the Vegas roll, it was a joint collaboration many years ago. I highly reccomend "Sushi Zono" to all culinary explorers.

Awesome sushi, fresh and innovative. Haro makes some really interesting dishes. Amoung my favorites are his Albacore Appetizer and the Hong Roll (named after one of the chefs).

Pros: fresh food, service, price

Cons: Bar can be busy

This place is great. Not only do they have some of the freshest fish but also the friendliest people. This place rivals some of the best Sushi bars in Japan.

Pros: Great Sushi bar, price is right

Cons: might need reservatio
