Best Kamakazi Pitchers

by volsfan3

This is the best place to kick off your evening by sharing a kamakazi pitcher with friends - or be brave and down it on your own. The staff is friendly and the atomosphere is unique for the area. If you are lucky enough to score a booth ask the bartender for some dice cups and play a few games while people watching.

  • Pros: Great drinks, fun atomosphere
  • Cons: Can get a little crowded

crowded but fun

by bayareaeaters

The kamikaze shots/drinks taste a little weak, but don't be fooled they catch up quick. We went there for my sister's birthday. It was a good time. She was done in by the kamikazes (just so darn tasty!). When we initially got there, the place was pretty empty, after about 10pm, the place totally filled up. Wall to wall people. Most pretty friendly. This place definitely has a scene. People are dressed up, but not to worry those of us who won't wear tank-tops in 30 degree weather can also feel at home. I thought the bartenders were really nice. This is a good place to have a fun time.

  • Pros: kamikazes
  • Cons: crowded

Kamikazi's Anyone?

by lil_hil

Get there early for their kamakazi specialty (cranberry preferred) and to start off the night right before heading to the other LG bars. If you're lucky enough to get one of their booths or bar seats you have certainly lucked out.

  • Pros: Cranberry Kamikazes

Kamikaze Shots

by mark

This is the best place in the South Bay for a kamikaze shot. Just a good bar. Small, dark inside bar with a dart board is the whole place. IF your in need of a shot or kami, this is the place to hold you over.

Downtown Los Gatos Scottish pub is the kamikaze destination for college kids and bikers.

by Tara Lis

In Short
A local favorite since 1959, this dark and unassuming tavern consists of a handful of oversized wooden booths in the main room, a bustling bar scene and a smaller gaming area in the back with pinball and Pac-Man. Coats of arms and other Scottish cultural paraphernalia co-exist with purple Christmas lights and other modern touches. The predominantly classic-rock jukebox spills out tunes while kamikaze shots and beers are consumed with vigor.
