Avoid Tangles!

I would NOT recommend this salon to anyone. Unprofessional teenagers prancing around everywhere, horrible receptionists. The day I came in, a girl with tattoos all over her arms and a hairstyle gone bad "greeted" me about 5 minutes after I've been standing there. I've also noticed that she had scars all over her inner arms (signs of cutting, depression, psychological issues). Not only that, but the hair "stylists"... I really don't want to put them down, but honestly, they are BAD. Very unprofessional, my friends and I have had 3 different hairstylists within our circle and they've all turned out to be the worst haircuts of our lives. The girl I had charged me $65 for cutting off 1 inch of my hair. It was barely even a trim. Ridiculous..

BAD SERVICE BAD HAIR CUT

I just wanted to share my experience. I called for an appt and the reception accomodated my requests.

When I showed up the reception Ignored me while 3 employees decided to talk about the previous client.

Very unprofessional and uncalled for. This salon has staff that is fresh out of beauty school . To bad nice looking salon not much DEPTH!

Great Cuts!

I happened to be in town visiting for the holidays and needed a cut. I normally never stray from my stylist but I was desperate. A friend recommended Tangles so I popped in. I had one of the best salon experiences I've had! The salon was put together quite nicely, the people friendly and professional, the staff timely, and the vibe -- funky and fun! I went to see Heather Firth for a layered cut. She gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had. I walked out of the salon feeling beautiful, confident and on top of the world. Thanks Heather & Tangles! I'll be recommending you to my NY friends if by chance they ever are in LG.

Great Stylist

I was referred to Lauren at this salon from a co-worker who has fabulous hair. I've since seen her twice for color and cut and am so glad I found her. Lauren is truly an artist and it's clearly obvious she loves her work. I felt I was in the hands of a complete professional whom I can communicate with easily. My appointments with her have been a pleasure and I look foward to the next.

• Pros: helpful staff, very knowledgeable
• Cons: Sat. AM parking is tough

I just love this salon and my stylist Lauren!!!!!

My experiences at the salon have been great! Everyone is extremely friendly and not stuffy at all. I've been following Lauren for a few years and she's the best stylist I've been to ever! She really listens to what I'm looking for and always makes me feel great. I definitely recommend her to everyone, you won't be disappointed.

Wonderful Salon

Alisa has been doing my hair for about two years now, and I couldn't ask for a better stylist. I have been to Tangles twice since she moved there and the salon is wonderful. Very clean, personable staff, and great music. I highly recommend this salon (ask for Alisa)!

Friendly Atmosphere

I have been to Tangles twice my stylist Alisa recently joined the friendly team of stylists there. Alisa has been doing my hair for about 4 years now. She is absolutely wonderful, very friendly and does what you want. She has done work for movie stars and I can see why. I am very picky about who does my hair. I was referred to her by my cousin and I will not let anyone else touch my hair now. The other girls at Tangles are friendly and make sure your comfortable. They offer you magazines or something to drink If you have to wait. I never have to wait because Alisa is always prompt and on schedule. I read the other reviews and the ones that are bad I don't see how because I have had a great experience at Tangles. Make sure you go to Tangles and ask for Alisa you will not be disappointed.

Tangles

Hello to everyone that reads this. I have been a client of Tangles for many years and i can honestly say that the salon has never been more proffetional. It was a very pleasant experiance from the time of making the appointment through checking out with the friendliest receptionist I have ever met. I loved my hair and enjoyed the vibe and the energy. I would definitely recommened the Salon and all of them are just great.

Tangles

I just started going to tangles and it's great I dont know what people on here are talking about. The Salon is under new ownership since Renee abandand the Salon. Everyone in the Salon has great energy. I love my stylist Cory she has the best attitude and makes me feel good about myself. So if ur looking for a good stylist go to her, shes cute and funny. So forget about the past and look for the new. peace and love

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done here and it was a wonderful experience. Alisa was my stylist and she is by far the best I've ever had. I got a cut and color and she was very professional and great to talk with. Best of all, she did the best job of anyone I've ever been to (and I'm very picky). I thought my hair looked good before but now I know what a truly great stylist can do. It turns out she's been doing this for quite a few years and has even styled for celebrities and worked on movie sets. No wonder it came out so well! I can't say enough and I'll definately go back to see her.

• Pros: Great location, parking is easy (which is unusual for Los Gatos salons - park in the back), and Alisa is the best stylist I've ever had.
• Cons: None

Best stylist and she's funny too!

My stylist Lauren just moved to Tangles and she is great! She is a true professional and a master of her craft. She listens well to my requests but lets me know what she thinks before proceeding. I've been getting highlites and haircuts from her for about the past five years and I'm never disappointed. I've heard the salon is under new ownership so the staff is very friendly and inviting. I've referred all my friends to Lauren and they love her too!
